First Choice are currently working with a Large International Freight Forwarder based out of Maryland with offices across the US and a strong presence in the Europe and the Far East.
This position will be to primarily implement a clear sales and business development strategy, prioritize markets, develop initiatives as well as manage sales team to drive sales results.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, coordinate, and implement the companys business development plan via development of revenue projections, including forecasting strategy and creation of mid to long range business plans.
- Recruit, hire, train, develop and mentor sales team to successfully meet sales goals and company objectives.
- Identify sales opportunities and lead initiatives for entry into new and emerging markets/verticals
- Establish and maintain relationships with customers and business leaders.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Travel as required to build business
- Motivate sales team and problem solve any issues they may have.
- Create operating plans to meet specified objectives and
modify the tactics when necessary to achieve the desired results
